WHITE PLAINS, NY— Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. completed an agreement with O&S Holdings, LLC to operate a new 200-room luxury hotel and conference center under its upscale Westin brand in Huntsville, AL. Slated to open in fall 2006, the hotel will be the “centerpiece” of the $200 million O&S Holdings Bridge Street development, a neo-urban upscale lifetsyle center complete with shopping, dining, entertainment, offices, apartments and residences, according to Starwood. The Westin property will also include 40 privately-owned residences occupying the top five floors of the 12-story complex. It is Westins first property in Alabama.
