WHITE PLAINS, NY— Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, has named Deutsch as the advertising agency of record for its Westin and Sheraton brands. Deutsch was selected from more than 10 agencies that participated in the review for the $20-30 million account. “The key objective of this review was to find an agency that would successfully develop, define and communicate Starwood’s two largest brand’s personalities through strategic, targeted and creative advertising,’” says Sharon Rothstein, svp/global brand marketing for Starwood. Deutsch will oversee all media plans for Westin and Sheraton’s North America campaigns, while divisions outside of North America will handle media locally.
