WHITE PLAINS, NY— Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has reached a settlement with Caesar Park Hotels and Resorts over a lawsuit filed in New York State Court regarding Starwood’s management practices at seven Caesar Park-owned properties. According to a published report, no money was exchanged as part of the agreement, and Starwood’s long-term management contracts with the seven hotels will remain intact. No other details were disclosed. The hotels involved in the lawsuit are the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ; the Westin Resort in Hilton Head Island, SC; the Westin Calgary and the Westin Edmonton, which are both in Alberta, Canada; the Westin Ottawa in Ontario, Canada; the Westin Bayshore & Marina in Vancouver, British Columbia; and the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.
