HAIKOU, CHINA— When the Sheraton Haikou Resort opens here in late 2005, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will be the property’s manager, notching its 29th hotel in the country. Starwood recently inked the agreement with Hainan Hua Neng Hai Bin Industrial Development Co. Ltd. . The 330-room Sheraton Haikou Resort will feature four dining outlets, sports and recreational facilities, a health club and spa, an outdoor swimming pool and retail shops. There also will be more than 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
