Starwood Launches Marketing Partnership With Ameritrade

WHITE PLAINS, NY— Ameritrade Holding Corp. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced a marketing partnership designed to promote Ameritrade to Starwood Preferred Guest members and to reward existing Ameritrade clients with Starpoint offers. Starting today, Starwood Preferred Guests can earn up to 20,000 Starpoints when opening a new individual or joint Ameritrade account. Starting later this year, all Ameritrade clients will have the opportunity to stock up on Starpoints when adding funds to existing accounts. Specifically, when opening an Ameritrade account, a Starwood Preferred Guest may earn(a): * 3,000 Starpoints for an account opened with a minimum of $2,000 * 10,000 Starpoints for an account opened with a minimum of $10,000 * 20,000 Starpoints for an account opened with a minimum of $25,000. Additionally, Starwood Preferred Guest members can choose to convert Starpoints into airline miles. Existing Ameritrade clients will also receive benefits through this partnership, including: * Opportunities to earn Starpoints by adding funds to their existing Ameritrade accounts – to be introduced later this year; * Access to special Preferred Plus Guest status, which provides a host of benefits including: complimentary room upgrades; and * Special offers from Starwood hotels, including discounts and amenities for Ameritrade clients.
