DUSHANBE, TAJIKISTAN—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has entered Tajikistan with the opening of Sheraton Dushanbe Hotel.
Owned by CJSC CHL International, a subsidiary of CHL Limited, Sheraton Dushanbe Hotel offers 148 rooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, three restaurants and all of the Sheraton brand’s signature amenities and services.
Located five minutes from Dushanbe International Airport, the new Sheraton offers access to the city’s central business district, government offices and embassies. Nearby attractions include the National Museum of Ancient Art, National Palace, Victory Park, Botanical Garden and several traditional tea houses.
All guestrooms, including the top-floor Presidential Suite, offer the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, Shine Spa for Sheraton bath amenities, a 42-in. screen LCD television, in-room safe, work station and high-speed Internet.
Dining options include inAzia, where guests can choose among a variety of dishes from Vietnam, Thailand, China, Indonesia and Japan; Grill@48, which offers regional barbeque favorites including kebabs, mixed grills and a choice of fresh seafood and meats; and Zaitoun Restaurant, an all-day restaurant serving French, Spanish, Greek, Turkish and Lebanese cuisine.
