WHITE PLAINS, NY— Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Inmobiliaria Interpres, S.A. de C.V have launched the Sheraton Centro Historico Hotel & Convention Center in Mexico City. The project is Starwoods 20th property to open in Mexico and the companys third hotel in Mexico City. Situated in the heart of Mexico Citys Historical Center, the Sheraton boasts the capitals largest meetings and events hotel facility. The hotel offers 457 guestrooms including a 3,229-square-foot Presidential Suite, junior suites, master suites and extended-stay guestrooms. Each room is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology work areas with data port/modem, high-speed Internet connection, two phone lines and flat screen TVs with Internet capability. The hotels convention center features 53,000 square feet of event space with eight meeting rooms that can be divided into 14 smaller rooms. All meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and together, can accommodate more than 6,000 people. Other hotel features include several restaurants, a bar, and a gym.
