WHITE PLAINS, NY— Despite the present political situation, Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to continue making long-term investments in Israel through the expansion of its Sheraton brand, according to Roeland Vos, Starwood’s president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Vos explained that Sheraton had no plans to sell its 25% stake in the Sheraton-Moriah Israel chain, which boasts eight Sheraton-branded hotels in cities including Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Eilat.
