BAL HARBOUR, FL—The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort appointed Milton Sgarbi general manager for the oceanfront resort.
Sgarbi, who has more than 20 years’ of domestic and international experience, is in charge of operating the hotel and residences for the AAA Five Diamond resort, and also manages all facets of the property, from operational duties to finance.

Sgarbi joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2000 as GM for the Hotel Romazzino, a Luxury Collection Resort in Italy. He then was opening GM for The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. Most recently, he was opening GM for The St. Regis Princeville Resort in Hawaii.
The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort features 227 rooms and suites, including 70 one and two-bedroom suites. It was designed by Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership with interiors by design firm Yabu Pushelberg.
