South African Hotel Adding New Conference Center

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA— The Westcliff hotel here is building a multi-million dollar conference center on part of the luxury hotels seven-acre cliff-side property. It slated to be finished in the first quarter of 2003. The new conference center will allow the hotel to host variously sized gatherings from small, high-end meetings to large corporate conferences. Plus, it allows for wedding receptions, private parties and other functions. The conference center will be situated adjacent to the propertys business center. The Westcliff is part of Orient-Express Hotels African Collection, which also includes the Westcliffs sister property in Cape Town called The Mount Nelson Hotel.
