NEW YORK Sonnenblick-Goldman Co. announced the promotion of four members of its professional team at its New York Office.
Previous Vice Presidents, Peter Berk and Mark Ehlinger have been elevated to directors. Berk is a primary member of the firm s capital markets group. In that capacity, he is responsible for initiating and maintaining the firm s relationships with both the portfolio and the securitized lending markets. Previously with Jones Lang LaSalle, Berk has been with the firm for over seven years and has been responsible for arranging approximately $1.8 billion worth of financing for office, hotel and residential properties.
Mark Ehlinger jointed Sonnenblick-Goldman in 1994 and has been a key member of project teams that have completed over two dozen sales and financing transactions with a total value of more than $1.5 billion. Prior to joining Sonnenblick, Ehlinger was with the Real Estate Consulting Group of Deloitte & Touche and Fidelity Investments.
Elif Bali, a member of the company s Lodging and Leisure Group, has been promoted to vp. Ms. Bali s responsibilities include assessing potential equity and debt offerings, performing financial and market analysis, overseeing the preparation of investment documents and facilitating the due diligence process, with an emphasis on marketing transactions.
Victor Wang, who specializes in office and retail properties, has been promoted to vp. His primary responsibilities include providing financial and market analyses, underwriting and structuring investment sales and financing transactions, producing marketing brochures, and assisting potential equity investors and lenders in their analyses of the properties.
