LOS ANGELES, CA— Sonnenblick-Eichner Co. has relocated its Century City headquarters from 1801 Avenue of the Stars to 1901 Avenue of the Stars here, signing a five-year lease for 3,400 square feet with building owner Douglas Emmett and— in the process— increasing the firm’s overall occupancy by 30%. The company’s expansion is said to include the planned addition of select senior-level executives embodying financial expertise to complement the existing management team. “Our growth is carefully measured to ensure that each addition to our team is a benefit to the firm and its clients,” said Elliot Eichner, a founding principal of the firm. Regarding the timeliness of the companys move, Sonnenblick-Eichner Co. reportedly believes real estate will continue to be a primary asset class for institutional investors and that there will be tremendous liquidity in the marketplace for Class-A institutional properties.
