BOSTON— Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has entered into an agreement with Donald Trump and Dezer Properties to manage the new Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort, located north of Miami Beach, in Sunny Isles, Florida. The property will be Sonesta’s third in Miami; it already has a resort on Key Biscayne , and recently opened a hotel in Coconut Grove. The 398-room Trump property will open later this year. The luxury 32-story building will feature a two-story waterfall in the lobby; free-form oceanfront pool; watersports, two restaurants; two lounges; a European spa and fitness center; retail arcade; business center; and a 21,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including an oceanfront ballroom. Sonesta Hotels, Resorts & Nile Cruises, based in Boston, represents a collection of 22 upscale hotels and resorts and three Nile Cruise ships. Sonesta’s properties are located in Boston, New Orleans (2), Miami (3), Bermuda, Anguilla, Peru (6), Tuscany (3), and Egypt (8).
