BERLIN—Sofitel Luxury Hotels signed a management contract for the Hotel Concorde Berlin, which will be operated under its new name, the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm, effective Feb. 1.
Between February and third-quarter 2014, in association with the hotel architect, Jan Kleihues, the public areas, restaurants and the bar of the Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm will be refreshed. The 311 guestrooms, including 44 suites, will be equipped with new MyBeds. The hotel also will feature 16 conference rooms and a large ballroom.
