Smith Travel Reports Early Feb. Stats

NEW YORK Smith Travel Research s (STR) preliminary February 2001 figures for the U.S. lodging industry indicate that industry occupancy will be down versus February 2000. However, average room rate growth will likely result in a RevPar gain of 2% to 4% in February 2001 versus prior year statistics, said STR. (3/12/01)
