WEST PALM BEACH, FL— Marriott International announced the conversion of the Sheraton West Palm Beach to the West Palm Beach Marriott. The 349-room hotel is located at 630 Clearwater Park Road and is currently undergoing a refurbishment program, which is expected to be complete by early 2004. The property is owned by PBM Properties, LLC and managed by Marriott International. Renovated guestrooms will feature the signature “Marriott Bed,” with quilted-top mattresses, oversized comforters and feather pillows. In-room amenities include two-line telephone with dataport and voicemail, cable television with pay-per-view movies, coffee and tea service, hair dryer, and iron and ironing board. A concierge level offering complimentary continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will also be available. The hotel offers over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the 6,600-square-foot Regency ballroom, three additional meeting/breakout rooms and a covered terrace. All meeting rooms feature high-speed Internet access. The West Palm Beach Marriott is near the new Palm Beach County Convention Center, which offers an additional 350,000 square feet of meeting space.
