STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO— The Sheraton Steamboat Resort and Conference Center has named Bridget Buesing as its new director of convention and catering services. Buesing will manage the department as well as handle budgeting, catering marketing strategies and monthly forecasting for the mountain-base resort. The Sheraton has more than 25,000 square feet of meeting space and a 6,300-sf grand ballroom. Buesing most recently worked in a contract position in the catering department of the San Marcos Hotel & Resort in Chandler, AZ. Prior to that, she was with Sunstone Hotel Properties for several years, serving as the director of catering and convention services at the Kahler Grand Hotel in Rochester, MN and catering manager at the Holiday Inn City Centre, also in Rochester. The Sheraton Steamboat is part of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
