SAN FRANCISCO— The former David Hotel, now the Touchstone Hotel, has joined the Golden Tulip Worldwide chain after a series of upgrades, which included the addition of in-room phones with voicemail and data ports, irons and hairdryers in its 41 guestrooms. The hotel was selected to join the Netherlands-based chain due to its location to the theater district and Union Square, said hotel officials.
