PROVENCE, FRANCE— The Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche, located close to the Côte d’Azur, has officially opened for business. The 115-suite property has been built into a hillside just outside the villages of Tourrettes and Fayence, in the Domaine de Terre Blanche. The second property in France for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, this new facility has reportedly been designed as a residential retreat. Each of the resort’s suites is located in one- or two-story villas, with French doors opening onto a private terrace. Other amenities and features include: Faventia, the property’s main restaurant, serves contemporary Mediterranean cuisine; lighter fare is served in The Clubhouse and The Lobby; and in the warmer weather, the Tousco Grill offers outdoor dining. On the recreational side, in addition to a pair of Daave Thomas-designed championship golf courses, a spacious pool deck also offers a whirlpool and children’s pool. Moreover, a dedicated fitness and spa villas similarly offer a range of activities and services. In terms of taking care of business, the new resort encompasses versatile meeting and banquet space totaling 7,847 square feet, supported by full communications/audio-visual technology and 24-hour business services. Additionally, meeting rooms lead out to private lawns or terraces.
