LONDON— According to its President and Chief Executive Jorgen Lindegaard, Scandinavian Airlines System Group (SAS) is seeking a chain of three-star hotels to accommodate its ever increasing number of leisure travelers. According to Lindegaard, if the company finds nothing suitable then it will establish its own chain, with initial development in Scandinavia to be followed by expansion elsewhere. He sees the chain as being a supplement to the four-star Radisson SAS and Malmaison chains and, eventually, the chain could become as extensive as its illustrious stable mates.
