Sanderling Names Brewton GM

DUCK, NC— Scott Brewton, CHA, has been named general manager of The Sanderling, a 94-room resort located on North Carolinas Outer Banks. Brewton, a 22-year veteran in the hospitality industry, was general manager of the Daufuskie Island Resort in Hilton Head Island, SC, prior to his appointment at The Sanderling. In other experience, he was at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in Pinehurst, NC, where he started out as director of food and beverage and worked his way up to executive vp/operations.
