Sandals Announces Vacation Assurance Program

MIAMI— Vacationers planning trips to any of the 17 Sandals and Beaches Resorts in the Caribbean can now reschedule their stays without penalty in the event of war or terrorist activity, said Gordon Stewart, chairman of the company. The Vacation Assurance Program is effective immediately and enables guests to reschedule their stays for up to one year. In addition, should air service be compromised for returning guests as was the case following 9/11, Sandals and Beaches properties will provide complimentary accommodations for up to three nights.
