SAN DIEGO, CA— Alan Randle, general manager of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, died Thursday, January 15, of an apparent heart attack at his home in Poway. He was 53. Randle joined the Manchester Grand Hyatt staff in 1994. He oversaw the planning, construction and opening last August of a 33-story addition to the Hyatt San Diego. Randle served on the board of directors of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau and the San Diego Port Tenants Association. He was also a past board member of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association. Randle had been with Hyatt Hotels for over 30 years.
