NEW YORK The Swiss aviation conglomerate SAirGroup, which recently confirmed that it is to sell off its non-core assets including its hotel division, Swissotel, is reported to also be selling its Vienna Hilton Hotel in Austria. The transaction is expected to fetch around euro 72.67 million, or $65.3 million, and is being conducted through the company s property subsidiary Hiro-Swissair Immobilienverwertungsges.

According to reports, Hospitality Europe BV is the most likely buyer. Reports suggest a letter of intent has already been signed and the deal may be concluded by the end of the month. (3/16/01)
