SOUTHLAKE, TX— Sabre Holdings Corp. has named Jeff Palmer as president of its subsidiary GetThere, the Web-based travel booking system for corporations and suppliers. Palmer, who has been chief operating officer of GetThere, replaces Gadi Maier, who left Sabre at the end of January to pursue other interests. Palmer will report to William Hannigan, chairman/chief executive officer of Sabre. Sabre acquired GetThere in October of 2000, combining it with its Sabre Business Travel Solutions unit.
