DALLAS— Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named David W. Flack managing director of the companys Little Dix Bay resort in the British Virgin Islands. Flack was previously general manager/owners representative of Cerulean Private Villa Resort on Anguilla, British West Indies. The private estate, run like a five-star resort, caters to sports and entertainment celebrities and wealthy families. Prior to that, he served in top management positions at several luxury resorts and hotels including CuisinArt Resort & Spa in Anguilla, Turtle Island Resort in Fiji, and The Biltmore in Los Angeles. His appointment is effective November 1, 2002. Little Dix Bay is a 98-room resort on the island of Virgin Gorda. In December, it will launch The Spa at Little Dix Bay, the resorts first full-service spa with nine treatment cottages. The property will also debut two new beachfront, ultra-luxury private two-and three-bedroom villas with private plunge pools. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, manages The Carlyle in New York City, The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Badrutts Palace in St. Moritz, Switzerland, Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico.
