DALLAS— Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named David W. Flack managing director of the companys Little Dix Bay resort in the British Virgin Islands. Flack was previously general manager/owners representative of Cerulean Private Villa Resort on Anguilla, British West Indies. The private estate, run like a five-star resort, caters to sports and entertainment celebrities and wealthy families. Prior to that, he served in top management positions at several luxury resorts and hotels including CuisinArt Resort & Spa in Anguilla, Turtle Island Resort in Fiji, and The Biltmore in Los Angeles. His appointment is effective November 1, 2002. Little Dix Bay is a 98-room resort on the island of Virgin Gorda. In December, it will launch The Spa at Little Dix Bay, the resorts first full-service spa with nine treatment cottages. The property will also debut two new beachfront, ultra-luxury private two-and three-bedroom villas with private plunge pools.
