IRVING, TX— Omni Hotels has appointed John Rosen vp/acquisitions and development, charged with directing the company’s expansion throughout North America and internationally. “The addition of this new position reflects our commitment to aggressively grow Omni through acquisitions and new management opportunities,” said Mike Garcia, the company’s chief financial officer. Omni Hotels opened three new properties in the last 13 months, including the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, the Omni San Diego Hotel, and the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. In addition, the company is working with the city of Fort Worth to develop its downtown convention center hotel. Rosen most recently served as vp/finance and administration for the development of Calistoga Ranch, a luxury resort and residential development in the Napa Valley led by Olympus Real Estate Partners and managed by Auberge Resorts. His background also includes positions at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, PKF Consulting and various hotel operating positions.
