AUBURN, ME—ROK Builders LLC has completed the remodeling of the lobby for the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch and updated the hotel’s 7,000-sq.-ft. pre-function and conference center with new flooring and wall coverings.
ROK Builders incorporated Hilton Garden Inn’s Project Grow design standards into the project. This initiative aims to update all franchise properties and unify the brand by the end of 2013.
ROK Builders made minimal structural changes to the hotel to meet the hotel’s standards. A garden atmosphere was created throughout the lobby by installing new flooring, pendant light fixtures, stone counters, cabana draperies and artwork. Communal breakfast tables, bar tables, signature seating and a garden cart that displays food and beverage offerings were also added to provide guests with social and meeting spaces throughout the day.
“The new layout and nature-inspired design has transformed the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch’s lobby into a place of relaxation and socialization for guests,” Fred B. Roedel, president of ROK Builders, said in a statement. “These renovations combined with Hilton Garden Inns value-focused brand promise, will enable the hotel to provide guests with superior accommodations and a highly satisfying stay.”
