GLENDALE, AZ— Vesta Hospitality can now develop a Staybridge Suites and a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Glendale, AZ, thanks to the closing of a $21.6-million first mortgage loan that will help finance the projects. RockBridge Capital, LLC provided the funding. Both hotels will be located in the developing sports and entertainment district in Glendale and will rise in the 160-acre Zanjero mixed-use development that will include retail, restaurant and office spaces. The development is adjacent to the newly built University of Phoenix Stadium, which is the home of the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. The Staybridge will have 116 rooms and the Holiday Inn Express will have 96 rooms. They will both share a resort-style pool featuring a waterfall and fountains.
