COLUMBUS, OH— RockBridge Capital Inc. LLC has named James Merkel managing director of the firm, promoting him from vice president and principal. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring, executing, monitoring and exiting investments, and also handles all marketing and media relations for RockBridge. In addition, he is on the firm’s executive committee. Merkel began his career in 1995 with the Real Estate Investment Group of Banc One Capital Markets, the forerunner of RockBridge Capital.
