Marriott International Breaks Ground on Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad
Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC and luxury development firm Flag Luxury Group breaks ground on The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. This $500-million project will have accommodations and residences designed by architect Rafael Viñoly, with interiors created by interior design firm Yabu Pushelberg.
The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad will have 250 rooms and 16 branded residences, a restaurant, the brand’s Club Lounge, a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa and fitness center and a rooftop bar.
Historic Hotel on Florida’s Gulf Coast Prepares For Opening
JMC Communities reveals the opening of Belleview Inn later this year. Its inspiration and infrastructure comes from the Belleview Biltmore Hotel, the four-story, 35-room property originally built in 1897 in Belleair, FL, and now restored and preparing to welcome guests once again. JMC Communities has maintained authentic features like its lobby staircase and Tiffany stained glass.
In addition to introducing modern-day technology and amenities in the rooms and suites, Belleview Inn will have a resort-style pool, a fitness center, Maisie’s Marketplace and a history room. Guests will also have access to the Belleview Country Club, with the oldest golf course in Florida. The club also has a spa and sports facilities.
Both the inn and country club are housed within Belleview Place, a new gated community. The inn will be operated by OPL as part its OPAL Collection.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Underway in Glen Mills, PA
High Construction has received a $12-million contract to build a Home2 Suites in Concord Township (Glen Mills), Delaware County, PA. Construction of the 69,900-sq.-ft. hotel will be completed in summer 2019.
The new four-story hotel will include 109 suites with fully equipped kitchens, a fitness center, business center, indoor pool and outdoor living area.
Woodlark to Open in Portland, OR
Woodlark, a new lifestyle hotel under construction in downtown Portland, is now taking reservations. The 150-room renovated property unites two buildings, The Cornelius Hotel and the Woodlark Building, a former retail and office building built in 1912 and home to Clarke & Co., the city’s first pharmacy.
