HALF MOON BAY, CA—James Cole has been appointed Hotel Manager/Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay.

“James brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new responsibility and we are pleased to have him lead our operations,” stated GM George Munz. “We look forward to his new perspective, fresh ideas and all of his contributions to our resort, community and brand.”

Cole brings more than 15 years’ of experience with restaurants, hotels and resorts, and is responsible for the management and operations of all food and beverage outlets, including Navio, The Conservatory and The Ocean Terrace. Additionally, he will oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the 261-room resort.

Cole’s Ritz-Carlton background includes overseeing food and beverage operations in Sarasota, Georgetown, San Francisco, Grand Cayman and St. Louis. His previous roles within the company include Director of Outlets and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He also has experience working with The Dorchester Collection at The New York Palace as well as Club Corp. before joining The Ritz-Carlton.
