VAIL, CO— Todd W. Harris has been named general manager for the new Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch here. Harris, a 16-year veteran in the hotel and resort industry, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the new 237-room Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, which is scheduled to open November. Harris began his career with Ritz-Carlton in 1989 as an assistant reservations manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. He moved up through positions in guest service, housekeeping and management. Most recently, Harris was general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul, Korea. He has lived in a number of varied locations with Ritz-Carlton including Atlanta, Singapore, Osaka, Japan and three cities in California – Rancho Mirage, Marina Del Rey and San Francisco.
