SAN DIEGO— Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino has signed Lodging Management Systems to provide online services using LMS ResNet. The new system will allow guests to check room availability, place reservations, pay via credit card, and receive a confirmation number in real time via the Internet. The LMS ResNet system— which was finally selected after a two-year search by the property— is scheduled to go live this summer. In other news, the propertys expansion project is underway and slated for completion in early 2003. The expansion includes a 400-room resort, a 330,000-square-foot casino, a five-level, “smart” parking garage and the 18-hole championship Barona Creek Golf Club. It is run by the Barona Band of Mission Indians.
