LAS VEGAS— Resort Magic, a division of USA Investment Partners, announced plans to add a 40-story tower adjacent to the recently renovated Royal Hotel property in the center of the Las Vegas Boulevard strip. The new tower will add 426 vacation ownership units with two floors of timeshare suites and two floors of full-ownership penthouses. Plans call for a two-story resort pool and clubhouse located on the tenth floor of the tower overlooking the Las Vegas strip. The clubhouse will include a piano bar, sports room with billiards, state-of-the-art media room and library. The 16,000-square-foot pool will be created by Mandalay Bays pool designer, Tom Mackenzie. Construction of the new tower is slated to begin October 2002 with phase one completed in early 2004. Pre-opening vacation ownership sales are projected to begin in June 2002. The tower will feature an array of timeshare units: studio, deluxe, master deluxe and suites. Each studio, deluxe and master deluxe unit will have a variety of amenities including fully equipped kitchens, washer/dryer, and spacious living and dining areas. Some of the 426 units will be sold as full-ownership condominiums with the top floors dedicated to deluxe timeshare suites and two luxury penthouses.
