WASHINGTON, D.C. Marriott International has named a replacement for Horst Schulze, who is retiring as president/COO of Ritz-Carlton.
Simon Cooper, who heads up Canadian hotel operations for Marriott, will take on the role on February 19.
Schulze is expected to retain a hand in the hotels for at least a year.
Cooper, who previously served as president/COO of Canadas Delta Hotels & Resorts, said it is too early to disucuss any possible changes at the luxury chain. (1/23/01)
