ORLANDO, FL—The 151-room Courtyard Orlando International Drive/Convention Center hotel here has completed a major renovation of its lobby to comply with Courtyard’s new “refreshing business” lobby prototype standard. The open, bright and contemporary new lobby features vivid contrasting colors, including blue, green, orange and red. It also features separate welcome podiums that replace the traditional front desk. Flexible seating options include a communal table, private media booths with high-definition televisions and a semi-enclosed lounge area. The lobby’s new signature is the GoBoard, which is a 52-inch LCD touch screen offering local information, maps, weather reports, news, and business and sports headlines.
