Renaissance Mayflower Appoints New Marketing Director

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The historic Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC has named Karen Finberg director of marketing where she will oversee all sales and marketing efforts for the hotel. Finberg replaces Crystal Christmas who left to become resident manager at DC’s JW Marriott. Prior to the Mayflower Hotel, Finberg was director of sales and marketing at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta where she was responsible for overseeing the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts. During her tenure, Finberg significantly improved occupancy levels and her sales team was awarded the 2000 Renaissance Sales Special Achievement Award for the Southeast region. The 660-room Renaissance Mayflower Hotel is located four blocks from the White House in the heart of the nation’s capital.
