PARIS—Renaissance Hotels has opened the 110-room Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St Cloud Hotel on the grounds of the Paris Country Club.
Just 15 minutes outside downtown Paris, the country house style hotel is designed to emulate the Paris Country Club’s traditional Normandy architecture with its timber and thatch frame. French designer Jean-Philippe Nuel created the Feng Shui-inspired interiors, which feature uncluttered, open spaces. The design incorporates cream and beige tones to complement the modern lighting. Equestrian-themed artwork and leather furnishings reflect the countryside surroundings.
In addition to the hippodrome, the hotel offers a 9-hole golf course, fitness center and wellness area with an outdoor pool, treatment cabins and a steam room. The hotel also offers the Chateau de La Malmaison, an 18th century manor house, which once served as the home of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife.
The hotel’s restaurant, H, serves classic French dishes. It is split into two different sections: Guests can choose between a more formal dining experience and a more laid-back atmosphere with comfortable seating and low tables.
Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St Cloud Hotel offers six meeting spaces across 540 sq. m., with natural light and state-of-the-art technology. These can be combined with 12 meeting rooms at the Paris Country Club, which increases meeting space up to 2,600 sq. m. Other venues include terraces or a garden.
