WASHINGTON, D.C.— Marriott International has opened the 212-room Renaissance Beijing Hotel in Beijing, China. Owned by Air China, this is the fifth Renaissance Hotel in China, and the 30th Marriott-branded property in China. The property is part of a mixed-use development in the Chaoyang District of northeast Beijing that includes the 12-story property, an office building, and an underground parking garage for 260 automobiles. Guest rooms feature a large work desk, data port for high-speed Internet access, three telephones, cable/satellite television, in-room safe, duvet covers, bathrobes, marble bathroom with a separate shower, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, mini-bar, refrigerator and an umbrella. The hotel also offers a full array of special guest services, including a business center, online flight information, Renaissance Club Floor, safe deposit boxes available at the front desk, same-day laundry/valet service, daily housekeeping service, non-smoking floors, complimentary daily newspaper, an airline/car rental/tour desk, lobby concierge and car park. The Renaissance Beijing Hotel also has a 426-square-meter ballroom and three boardrooms.
