PHUKET, THAILAND—The 206-room Ramada Phuket Deevana has opened here in the heart of Patong Beach. The approximately $27-million development, owned by Deevana Hotels and Resorts Co., Ltd., offers deluxe rooms, premier rooms and junior suites, all with private balconies.

The contemporary resort joins four additional Ramada properties currently open and operating in Thailand. The opening follows the June debut of Wyndham’s first mixed-use property in Asia, Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket, which accommodates hotel guests as well as timeshare owners.

“The addition of Ramada Phuket Deevana provides travelers across the globe with a trusted lodging option on Thailand’s largest island, an incredibly popular tourist destination where there is high demand for quality accommodations,” said Barry Robinson, Wyndham Hotel Group’s president and managing director, Southeast Asia and Pacific Rim. “The hotel is also a step forward in our efforts to grow Ramada throughout Southeast Asia in destinations where travelers want to be.”

Ramada Phuket Deevana features a third-floor swimming pool, a fitness center, a kids’ club, a restaurant and the Orientala Wellness Spa.

“We are delighted to partner with the world’s largest hotel company for the development of Ramada Phuket Deevana, and look forward to providing guests with a stylish and contemporary accommodation option that matches the Ramada brand’s reputable standards,” said Ramada Phuket Deevana CEO Suksit Suvanditkul.
