LIMAVADY, IRELAND— Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has opened the Radisson SAS Roe Park Resort here, the companys first property in Northern Ireland. The hotel has recently undergone a major expansion program and now offers 118 guest rooms, including Business Class rooms, suites and family rooms, featuring both accommodations in the original Manor House as well as in a more modern addition. Business travelers can benefit from a range of meeting and conference rooms accommodating up to 450 people. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole parkland golf course and the state-of-the-art indoor Golf Training Academy, all weather practice tees, covered driving range, putting greens and a Pro Shop. In addition, the hotel has an on-site Fairways Leisure Spa with an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, spa, steam room, fitness facilities and treatment rooms. Local cuisine is served at the Coach House Brasserie overlooking the sixth fairway. While inside the hotel proper, guests can dine at the Greens Restaurant. Radisson SAS currently has 14 properties within the UK and Ireland. In addition to the recent openings in Leeds in May and Glasgow in November 2002, the company will also be adding hotels in Liverpool (2004), Stansted Airport (2004), Belfast (2004) and Birmingham (2005) in the UK. In Ireland, the chains third property opened in Limerick in summer 2002 and will be followed by Letterkenny in late 2003.
