MYRTLE BEACH, SC— Radisson Hotels & Resorts has named Michael Gerringer director of sales and marketing for its new 404-room Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach, which is under construction here. Adjoining the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, the 14-story hotel is slated to open in February 2003. Gerringer plans to work closely with Bill Sigmon Jr., the Center’s director of sales and marketing, as well as general manager Paul Edwards to pre-sell the hotel for meetings and conventions. Prior to joining the Myrtle Beach property, Gerringer served as director of sales and marketing at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Baltimore-Inner Harbor, MD.
