SAN DIEGO—Radisson has completed a yearlong, $4.5-million renovation of the Radisson Hotel San Diego – Rancho Bernardo, located here.
“We are in the final stages of a brand-wide renovation, aimed at refreshing the Radisson portfolio across our more than 150 hotels in the Americas and this hotel reflects the work we are doing to update our hotels,” stated Javier Rosenberg, COO, Radisson, Americas. “We are on track to have the entire portfolio completed by 2015, making Radisson one of the most refreshed hotel brands in North America.”
The hotel’s renovation comprised all 175 guestrooms, the lobby, business and fitness centers, restaurant and meeting space. The guestrooms now feature new furniture, paint, wall decor, carpet and enhanced lighting.
The lobby now features new stone floor and carpet, modern furniture and contemporary accents. A new business center has been created with a reclaimed wooden tabletop installed in the lobby.
The renovation also included the addition of the C3 Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant features a new bar seating area, four flat-screen TVs and new menu items from Chef Shane Dustin with local ingredients. Local craft beers from Stone Brewing Company have been added, as well.
Additional amenities include an outdoor pool and spa tub.
