Quality Inn To Hold Ribbon Cutting In PA

SHAMOKIN DAM, PA—The 140-unit Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center here will hold an invitation-only grand opening/ribbon cutting on Oct. 9. The Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center, which formerly operated as the Inn at Shamokin Dam, recently completed a $1.6 million renovation, which included renovating guestrooms with new bathrooms, furniture and HVAC units. The renovation also included external renovations of the façade, redesigning the lobby and upgrading the banquet/meeting facilities. The hotel and conference center features rooms with one king or two double beds, one and two-room suites with Jacuzzi tubs and corporate suites. Each room also offers movies on demand, telephones with data port, and a work desk. Some rooms have a microwave, refrigerator and/or whirlpool tubs. Hotel features include a large outdoor pool, a 2,600 square foot conference center capable of accommodating 200 people and guest laundry. The Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center is owned and operated by NT Management. of Mechanicsburg, PA. NT Management also owns and operates the Comfort Inn in Selinsgrove, the Econo Lodge in Hershey and the Comfort Inn Capital City in Mechanicsburg, PA. The hotel is located near Knoebels Amusement Resort, Penns Cave, Shikellamy State Park, and Bucknell University.
