GREENSBORO, NC— The 115-unit Quality Inn & Suites, centrally located in midtown here, will hold its grand opening on Oct. 29. Greensboro Mayor Keith Holliday and members of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for the event, which features a ribbon cutting, reception and live music. Owned and operated by Panafric Investors of Greensboro, N.C. , the new Quality Inn & Suites, which formerly operated as the Days Inn, is currently undergoing a $1 million renovation to be completed in November. The renovation includes updating the hotels facade, lobby, breakfast room, public areas and guestrooms. “The opening of this Quality Inn & Suites and renovation of the hotel is an important part of the revitalization of downtown Greensboro,” said Jay Tarasaria, general manager, in a prepared statement. The Quality Inn & Suites features rooms and suites with one king or two double beds and the Quality Sleeper by Serta mattress, a 25-inch cable TV, and telephones with data port. The Quality Executive Room features the signature Quality Sleeper mattress by Serta, speakerphone with data port, 900-square-inch desk, bright lighting, easy-access electric outlets, easy chair and a free daily newspaper. Hotel features include an outdoor pool, kids pool, playground, over 2,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center.
