PwC Expands Hospitality & Leisure Practice

NEW YORK PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Brian Whiting to lead its Travel & Tourism Practice, a new division of PwCs Hospitality & Leisure Practice.

In his new role, Whiting will be responsible for aiding in the development, strategic planning and promotion of destinations, attractions and tourism business throughout the world. Whiting will lead the Travel & Tourism practice at a time when world tourism arrivals are expected to top 700 million by the year 2001 and the industry has grown from $221 billion to over $580 billion in the last five years. Whiting most recently led the international marketing efforrs for the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) in Europe. (1/11/01)
