LAS VEGAS— PurchasePro will produce a monthly microeconomic report indicating purchasing trends through reverse auctions, based on its newly launched e-Source purchasing solution. In the month ended June 30, 2001, PurchasePro reported that 95% reverse auctions were conducted through e-Source by nine buyers, including six Fortune 500 companies, one Global 500 company and one S 500 company, attracting 2,162 bids from 509 suppliers. Low bids totaled $15.5 million with opening or high bids totaling $33.1 million.
