DALLAS—Prism Hotels and Resorts will manage three properties owned the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC), including two Hilton-branded properties: Homewood Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton, both located in Las Vegas. In addition, the company will manage UBC’s International Training Center (ITC).
The 147-room Homewood Suites by Hilton is a completely renovated property located in the Marnell Corporate Center near McCarran Center and Town Square, five miles away from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Tru by Hilton, which is currently under development, will open December 2017 and offer 160 guestrooms with the property also serving as an overflow venue for the ITC. The International Training Center was developed as a training facility for members of the UBC. The over 1 million-sq.-ft. center consists of 300 dorm-style rooms, a 24-hour cafeteria and refreshment bar, banquet and event space, lounge, extensive classrooms, theaters, and training venues, as well as recreational facilities.
“This is a really unique opportunity for us to work with United Brotherhood of Carpenters for these three Vegas properties,” Steve Van, Prism Hotels and Resorts’ President and CEO, said. “Our team is looking forward to delivering a best-in-class hospitality experience that we are recognized for. As we continue to expand our portfolio in 2017, these properties made strategic sense for us as we increase our footprint and continue working with great owners all over the country.”
