FAIRFIELD, NJ— Prime Hospitality named Brian Knoderer regional vp/franchise sales and development for its midwest region. Knoderer will focus on expansion of the AmeriSuites and Wellesley Inns & Suites brands, said the company. Knoderer joins Prime Hospitality from Choice Hotels International, where he was director of franchise development for the Clarion Hotel brand. Responsible for growth of that brand in 11 midwestern states, he was a top salesperson for three consecutive years, adding over 3,500 hotel rooms to the Clarion system. Prior to that, Knoderer was a franchise consultant and president/owner of Town Marketing, a franchise direct mail marketing business. Prime Hospitality owns, manages, develops and franchises 240 hotels throughout the United States. Prime owns and operates two proprietary brands, AmeriSuites and Wellesley Inns & Suites. Also within Primes portfolio are owned and/or managed hotels operated under franchise agreements with national hotel chains including Hilton, Radisson, Sheraton and Holiday Inn.
